I'm sure you've all seen the recent devastation in Haiti, the many hurting people, and those who are without hope. My desire is to minister to the poor and needy, as Christ exemplified in his life. Christ Community Church has partnered with a local hospital (King's Hospital) to help with reconstruction needs and any other areas they may need. Most importantly, we plan to be different than the thousands already assisting in the relief efforts, by coupling our actions with Truth. The real message of hope can only be found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I ask for prayer. The Scriptures are clear, "...The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." (James 5:16b) It will only be through prayer and God's grace that we will be able to accomplish our goals. If it's God's will, the trip is planned for March 7th - 14th. I would certainly appreciate your prayers for my preparation up until that time, as well as your prayers during the week that I'm gone.
